Bugsy the Clown in 3D!

So here’s the special little something I was talking about earlier! Bugsy the Clown in 3D! And why, do you ask? It’s part of this ambitious idea of mine, to make a teaser trailer of sorts for all our viewing pleasure. I work in the 3D industry so it’s a natural progression for me to do this. So here’s a glimpse at the progress of Bugsy’s modeling.

First off, remember this image? It was on the second post of this blog. And was made using this picture:

After that, I still wasn’t too pleased with the results. So I went on with the modeling, changing, smoothing the lines of his face.

At this point I haven’t done the hair on the third version, so he looks kind of bald right now but not too worry, the hair’s the next thing I’ll be tackling. Now here’s a look at the entire body:

And another close up on Brandon’s face! Whoa! He looks bad-ass! Hehehe!

And the rest will come eventually. Next time, I’ll try and put up the storyboard I’m working on for this shindig! The 3D part however, will take quite … quite some time (I’m working alone on this thing ;) ).

  1. Hey, I’m glad you posted the 3D, I know it’s a progress but I see it better with stronger face lines (so it’s even more stylized). Keep going on, we want all the gang!!!!! ;)

Hehehe! You know what? I was looking at the first ones while I was making these pictures and still finding something I liked about them. Guess it was the stronger lines! Hahaha!
I’ll keep your comment in mind and it won’t be hard, because I was thinking the same thing hehehe!
I think it’s logical when we look at the drawings, they have very defined lines, it would make sense for the 3D to portray those in some way.
Thanks! And I’ll get to the other characters when he’ll be done!
